Are they irritated or just frustrated? What’s the difference? When I like a song I generally will run it into the ground. Listening to it over and over and over and over again. I will suck it dry. That means anybody in The Attic is going to get really frustrated with me if their room is too close to mine.
I’d never learn about a new song or band if it weren’t for other people. Even when I drive down the road all by myself it is very rare that I’d turn on the radio and listen to it. So I just have no exposure to new music. That’s where friends and models come into play. They turn me on to it. I learn about new music strictly from them. A good example: I had a friend over the other day and I was like, “HEY, check out this cool new song I got turned on to.” I played it, and, after a few stanzas she turned to me, looked me right in the eye and says, “Dude, they’ve been around for years.”
Well, that certainly sums it up.
