Pull It Out Of Your Ass
It really is kind of amazing. How one can completely make a living by nothing more than ideas, imagination. Your brain. A desire to live out a thought or a dream. With absolutely nothing but a need, a burning need, one can procure a life of unimaginable satisfaction. You simply need to be willing to take a chance. To grab for it.
The idea that you can totally pull something out of your ass, an idea, refine it, share it and then live off of it is amazing. An equalizer. You create something strictly from your own mind, from your own thoughts and feelings, and then share it with the masses. If you are liked then “You’re in like Flin”. If not, back to the drawing board.
The potential for success and failure are the same in either a traditional line of work: factory, insurance, programming, ditch digger; or what I’m talking about, when you take a bigger risk. Instead of working for someone else you work for yourself. The difference between the two is that the rewards and failures are magnified.
From a book, to a song, to a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. All you need is a strong desire or a living philosophy. When your work, your soul is embraced, your life can change.
